KinMAS captures body movement details in every bit.

With 9-axis IMU-based motion-tracking systems, KinMAS can facilitate the use of 10 sensors simultaneously. KinMAS captures every dynamic movement detail with an impressive 100 FPS streaming resolution. KinMAS provides real-time information such as waveform, 3D animation, body configuration, locomotion, joint angles and exercise sequences. You can also store the results so it’s easy to track your progress among all movement sessions.

With J-MEX’s Msenx and Dsenx technology, KinMAS caters for a significant reduction in drift, providing reliable data in longer streaming time. The sensor nodes are configured to operate in nine degrees (3 degrees each of accelerometer, gyroscope and magnetometer) of freedom data fusion mode, providing fused absolute orientation data from whole body 9-axis sensors in quaternion form. Our proven biomechanical model and sensor fusion algorithms ensure the highest quality motion analysis and the dynamic accuracy of 3D orientation up to ± 2° even in the most challenging magnetically disturbed environments.

Ease of use

KinMAS only takes you few minutes to wear, set up and calibrate.

Unlike optical and ultrasonic technologies, KinMAS is a wearable mocap suit which has no movement restrictions. KinMAS can fit all body types with the reusable and adjustable velcro straps. The system is also easy to set up. Initiating KinMAS with fast sensor calibration of all sensors can’t be easier. With its intuitive interface and features, you won’t be needing user training sessions to learn both hardware and software operations.

FAQs

  • We offer a 2-year warranty on all the electronic components of KinMAS: suit, sensors, hubs, and cables. Within the warranty period, the cost of shipping KinMAS back and forth will be covered by J-MEX.
  • Please note: If any electronic components are removed, replaced, or tampered without following the advice or instruction of KinMAS, the warranty will be voided.
  • Should you wish to buy an additional warranty make sure to request it by emailing us at service@jmex.com.tw
  • The rotational dynamic accuracy of 3D orientation is up to ±2°.
  • The angular accuracy rounds to the second decimal place.
  • The data output rate is 100Hz and the streaming data rate is 100Hz.

KinMAS version will be checked automatically. If it’s outdated, you will receive a notification to recommend you updating to the latest version after you log in.

  • KinMAS does NOT come with a battery.
  • KinMAS can be powered by a host computer.
  • There is a bag on the belt specifically designed to carry the USB hub.
